
Eveline Brunton is a senior operational and transformation leader with extensive experience across government, health and public services. She began her career in the Ministry of Justice, holding a number of corporate services and finance roles at HMP Holme House before becoming Head of Corporate Services at HMYOI Deerbolt.
Ev subsequently moved to Whitehall, taking on executive finance and commercial responsibilities within the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy. She later joined Public Health England as Business Operations Director, where she led strands of the organisation's financial, commercial, governance and people functions, while also serving as National Lead for Health Inequalities.
Throughout her career, Ev has led major organisational change programmes, complex workforce transformation initiatives and large-scale operational improvements. She has successfully negotiated significant financial settlements with HM Treasury, delivered complex organisational reforms and built a reputation for strong governance, strategic leadership and values-driven delivery.
Today, Ev is Director of Operations at the NHS Business Services Authority, with responsibility for large-scale customer and operational services that support the NHS workforce, patients and wider health system. She leads a broad portfolio spanning workforce services, service transformation, operational performance and strategic change, including major national programmes. Her focus is on ensuring high-quality, sustainable public services while driving innovation, continuous improvement and organisational resilience.
