Further information Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to support the use of population-level data by scientists involved in cancer research. This is an exciting opportunity to join an experienced team of cancer analysts and develop your skills in data science. You should be a good communicator, able to build strong relationships and work collaboratively with colleagues and key stakeholders.

The post is based in Health Data Insight (HDI) in Fulbourn, Cambridge. You will be working closely with colleagues in HDI and the National Cancer Registration and Analysis Service (NCRAS) – part of Public Health England (PHE). A background in cancer data is not required, although an understanding of health data would be an advantage. Experience with analysing and manipulating large amounts of data is however a key skill. We will provide training on the data held by NCRAS and the legal and information governance controls that govern its release.
